Patrol Division

The Patrol Division is comprised of two Sergeants and fourteen Patrol Officers.

    Biography
    Sergeant Greeder started his public safety career in 2006 as an Emergency Medical Technician before joining the Victor Police Department in 2008 as a Police Officer. 

    Professional Accomplishments
    During his service at Victor Police Department, he worked his way to the rank of Patrol Sergeant before Victor Police Department merged with the Teller County Sheriff’s Office in 2012.  Sergeant Greeder worked two more years at Teller County Sheriff’s Office obtaining the rank of Corporal.

    Sergeant Greeder joined the Woodland Park Police Department in 2015 where he immediately was sent to the Metro VNI Taskforce at Colorado Springs Police Department.  In 2018 he came back to patrol at Woodland Park Police Department as a Corporal.  Sergeant Greeder was promoted to the rank of Sergeant at Woodland Park Police Department in 2019.

    Sergeant Greeder holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Phoenix and graduated summa cum laude from Colorado State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Of Science in Applied Social Science.  Sergeant Greeder is a TASER Instructor, RADAR/LiDAR Instructor, De-Escalation Instructor, Naloxone (Narcan) Instructor, Hostage Negotiator and a Level IV Traffic Accident Re-constructionist.

    Biography
    Professional Accomplishments
    Sergeant Ramirez is an army veteran and retired contractor. He began his career in Law Enforcement in 2010 with the Teller County Sheriff’s Office serving as courthouse security deputy and a patrol deputy. While at Teller County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant Ramirez was promoted to the rank of corporal, he served as a patrol supervisor and worked in the jail as a shift supervisor.

    In 2015, Sergeant Ramirez joined the Woodland Park Police Department as a patrol officer and was promoted to patrol corporal shortly thereafter. In 2019, Sergeant Ramirez was promoted to the rank of Sergeant with the Woodland Park Police Department.

    Sergeant Ramirez is also the Department’s law enforcement driving instructor and a firearms instructor.

    Sergeant Ramirez has an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, graduated cum laude and a member of the honor society.
